Description
RugoBox® is a simple, modular and affordable device for measuring the macrotexture of the road surface. Easily integrated on a vehicle equipped with a hitch, the device allows for single or dual track measurements.
Compliant with the requirements of the latest version of the ISO 13473-1 standard, the device provides a notion of adherence through the MPD (Mean Profile Depth) and ETD (Equivalent Texture Depth) indicators.
RugoBox® is supplied with softwares for acquisition and processing allowing to exploit the associated indicators (visualization, acceptance report…).

RugoBox® is composed by default of :
- A measuring head with its connection cable,
- A control box and its power supply cable (cigarette lighter type),
- A distance measuring system (DMI) on a wheel of the vehicle,
- A magnetic GPS,
- A webcam and its suction cup holder,
- A storage case,
- A mechanical support for vehicule hitch.
