Astra and NextBike in the spotlight in the Nièvre department !🌟🤞
The NextRoad team recently gave a detailed presentation to the Nièvre department. Our teams travelled to the commune of Varrennes-Vauzelles (58) to present two of the Auscultation department’s flagship pieces of equipment: the ASTRA and the NextBike. 🚛🚴♂️
The event was attended by department representatives and @Le Journal du Centre. 📰
🎯 The aim of this session was to demonstrate the advanced capabilities of both pieces of equipment and their crucial contribution to the assessment and maintenance of road and greenway infrastructure.
➡ ASTRA is an innovative piece of equipment which, in a single pass, acquires all the data needed to analyze road conditions. It measures distance, uni-longitudinal, macrotexture, uni-transverse, and much more, providing a precise and detailed assessment of road infrastructures.
➡ The NextBike, meanwhile, is a bike equipped with sensors and GPS systems to carry out detailed surveys of greenways. It captures images and collects data on the pathologies and heritage of cycle paths, making it possible to ascertain the condition and maintenance needs of these roads.
Together, these two pieces of equipment provide a complete survey of the network, covering both roads and greenways ! 🛣
