[MISSION] – Intervention on the Comtoise (A36)
Our Centre-Est agency was commissioned to carry out external inspections of pavement rehabilitation work on the A36 PR99-57 freeway, on behalf of APRR 🔎
The works company resurfaced 5 cm of the wearing course on the entire carriageway, including the hard shoulder. They then purged the binder course and base course on this freeway nicknamed “La Comtoise”, an essential route linking Beaune to Ottmarsheim, which serves major towns such as Dole, Besançon, Montbéliard, Belfort and Mulhouse, and facilitates access to Germany and Switzerland.
On this large-scale project, our teams have set themselves a twofold objective: they are closely monitoring the site, while taking advantage of the assignment to train new technicians and pass on NextRoad skills and know-how. 🎓
