Since 2021, over 10 projects have been carefully completed by NextRoad teams on behalf of DIR Centre-Est in Lyon, concerning the renewal of the pavement on their road network.
Our Centre-Est agency carried out external inspections of these projects and supported the teams on-site from the preparation phase to the final acceptance of the work on various points:
👉 Reviewing the Quality Assurance Plan (PAQ) provided by the contractor and supplying technical opinions.
👉 Providing technical assistance to the project manager, participating in pre-start and site meetings.
👉 Monitoring the milling of the pavement and defining areas for removal if necessary.
👉 Overseeing the cleaning and acceptance of the support layer before the tack coat application.
👉 Supervising and inspecting the application of tack coats.
👉 Inspecting the manufacturing of asphalt mixes.
👉 Monitoring the application of asphalt (temperature, compaction, macrotexture, adhesion, thickness).
👉 Technically evaluating any detected non-conformities.
