The external control is carried out on behalf of the Project Manager by an independent company separate from the one executing the works. Its purpose is to ensure that the diagnosis and recommended work determined before the implementation of the works are adhered to.

Objective
What do we inspect?
As an external control service, with the support of our testing and inspection laboratories, we verify:
- The quality of the implementation of the works (milling thickness, cleanliness of the surface, compaction, etc.), including in situ characteristics of the pavement:
- Longitudinal evenness
- Grip and macro-texture
- Retro-reflection of horizontal markings (paint)
- The characteristics of the materials used, relying on the testing and inspection laboratory.
